Maintenance Manager
The Maintenance Manager is responsible for leading and optimizing all maintenance activities (preventive, predictive, and corrective) for production equipment to ensure stable, safe, and cost-effective operations. Owns 24/7 Safety, Quality and Efficiency of maintenance activities. Ensures the optimal spare parts inevntory required for uninterrupted Make Pack and Primary equipment maintenance and operation. The role ensures delivery of target machine efficiency, product quality, and equipment reliability, while supporting production performance and IWS deployment through effective maintenance systems and capability building.
Position
Maintenance & Repair
Maintenance Leadership and Execution - Lead and manage the maintenance team (planners, electricians, specialists)
Ensure effective execution of planned, preventive, and corrective maintenance activities
Optimize maintenance scheduling aligned with production plans
Analyze machinery performance and downtime causes; implement measures to improve maintenance efficiency and optimize planned technical downtime.
Ensure product parameters are met and standard machine parameters are documented.
Lead the resolution of complex faults in production.
Support production in achieving planned volumes on time, meeting product specifications and quality standards while delivering manufacturing KPIs.
Spare Parts Management
Manage spare parts budget and maintain optimal stock levels.
Reduce maintenance costs through breakdown elimination, extending consumable lifespan, and sourcing efficient spare parts and services.
Maintain spare parts inventory and organization in Kardex.
Analyze spare parts management efficiency and propose optimization strategies.
5S3R & Kaizen
Implement and supervise the 5S3R concept within areas of responsibility.
Prepare and guide visual workplace management systems.
Propose continuous improvement initiatives based on best practices from the tobacco industry or other sectors.
Safety & EHS
Ensure safe conditions and proper use of production equipment.
Stay aware of EHS risks across the site and follow all safety regulations, routines, and policies.
Actively promote a safer and healthier working environment.
People Development
Build and develop a high-performance team in the production area.
Coach and train mechanics and operators in both maintenance activities and SAP PM usage.
Foster autonomous capabilities within line teams.
Set production priorities through planned technical downtime meetings.
Requirements
High school diploma; technical school or equivalent is preferred.
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in machine installation, repair, and problem-solving.
Basic knowledge of electrical systems.
Experience in coaching and fostering a strong spirit of collaboration across teams.
Fluent in written and spoken English and Swedish.
Advanced proficiency in MS Office.
Strong analytical skills.
Experience with Lean methodology.
Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.
Familiarity with SAP.
