Your opportunity

Fixed-term employment during parental leave replacement, September 2026 - October 2027.

As aHR Tech Specialist, you will manage and further develop Boliden's shared, digitalized HR processes inWorkdaytogether with Process Owners and HR Business Partners. The main focus in this assignment is theLearningarea, where you will help ensure that learning processes, data, and user experience are consistent across the organization and support both compliance and business development. You will translate business needs into clear process improvements and system configurations, support roll-out and adoption, and act as a trusted partner to stakeholders across HR, IT, and the business. In this role, you will help ensure that our Workday setup and ways of working are aligned across the organization, and that our processes are user-friendly, compliant, and fit for purpose. You will be part of Group HR and our HR Tech team, with the goal of unifying and simplifying the HR technology portfolio to better support the business and enable efficient, data-driven HR operations. Together we achieve more!

You will join a team of eight HR Tech Specialists who work closely together, share knowledge across different HR process areas, and support each other in day-to-day operations as well as in improvement initiatives. The team collaborates with Process Owners, HR Business Partners, and IT to deliver stable solutions, solve issues efficiently, and drive continuous improvements that create value for both HR and the business.

What youwill do

In this role you will:
  • Have a main focus on the Learning area in Workday, ensuring clear governance of our common HR processes and driving continuous improvements to support business goals. This includes advising stakeholders on best practices, aligning ways of working across sites/countries, and translating learning-related needs into process and system solutions.
  • Conduct Workday system administration, including security maintenance, business process configuration, tenant configuration, data loads, integration monitoring, and release impact analysis. You will also support testing, documentation, and deployment of changes to ensure stable and predictable user experience.
  • Support the accuracy and integrity of data by contributing to risk and audit activities, security assessments, and access reviews. This may include running controls, investigating deviations, supporting corrective actions, and ensuring that access and configurations follow internal policies and compliance requirements.
  • Identify, assess, and prioritize enhancements that improve user experience, drive adoption, and maintain overall system hygiene and health. You will gather input from users and stakeholders, contribute to a structured backlog, and help ensure changes are communicated and adopted in a smooth way.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects (e.g., rollouts, process harmonization, or system improvements) and perform other duties as assigned. You will collaborate with HR, IT, and external partners to deliver agreed outcomes on time and with high quality.


What you bring

To succeed in this role, you have:
  • Experience working with HR operations in the Learning area (e.g., learning administration, training coordination, compliance training, or learning processes) and a genuine interest in digital solutions and process improvement.

or
  • Experience working with digital solutions (e.g., HR systems, IT applications, or system support) and a genuine interest in HR operations and how standardized processes can create value for users and the business.


It's a merit if you have experience from implementation and/or improvement projects, preferably where HR processes have been translated into digital tools across countries or multiple sites. Experience from Workday (especially Learning), integrations, testing, change communication, or working in a structured governance model is also considered beneficial.

We are looking for a team player who is problem-solving, innovative, and results-driven, with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize in a structured way. Since we work closely with the business, HR, and IT organizations, you are expected to communicate clearly with different stakeholders, explain complex topics in a simple way, and build trust through collaboration. You are fluent in English (writing and speaking). It is beneficial if you also have language skills in Swedish, Finnish, Norwegian, or Portuguese.

Temporary Full-time assignment starting as soon as possible after summer.You will be located at one of our business locations.
