Your role

As a Head of Business Control Production Järfälla, you will play an important role and work with our programs and the operation as a whole. Your overall goal will be to generate a positive business impact, provide early indicators to management and secure that Saabs accounting rules are followed. In this role, you will report directly to the Head of Business Control, Fighter Core Capabilities, you will also be a key member of the Production Järfälla management team and work closely together with the Production manager. Additionally, you will serve as a line manager, overseeing and developing the Controlling team.

Your main responsibilities are:

Support the Production Manager in financial and strategic decisions to drive growth, margin expansion, and cash generation by providing data-driven insights for business decisions.

Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes. Identify issues, quantify impacts, and lead corrective actions to ensure accurate financial planning and reporting.

Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies. Oversee financial closing, maintain high data quality, and lead quarterly reviews. Monitor the balance sheet and control investments to drive capital efficiency.

Lead business cases, investment decisions, and pricing strategies. Identify risks and opportunities for improvement to support business development.

Drive financial transformation initiatives and promote data-driven decision-making through advanced analytics and digital finance capabilities.

Lead, coach, and develop the Controlling team. Ensure the team has the right capabilities and structure to achieve its goals

Your profile

We believe you possess strong business acumen and strategic awareness, complemented by a relevant academic degree and extensive experience in financial planning, analysis, budgeting, and reporting. Experience from a management team is meriting.

Effective communication, both verbally and in writing, in English and Swedish is essential for this role. Qualifications:

Relevant academic degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field

Relevant experience from production controlling

Proven experience in financial planning, analysis, budgeting, and reporting

Significant experience in business control and strategic decision-making

Excellent communication skills in English and Swedish

Strong leadership, collaboration, and relationship-building skills

Proven ability to drive change and inspire others
