For our Global Indirect Procurement team we are looking for a*n Global Procurement Manager*in in the area of Professional Services to support our team as soon as possible.

Your Role

• Develop, lead and execute global category strategies for Consulting, Research & Development and Intellectual Property services
• Capability to create global competitive advantages and performance by managing and leading the Consulting Services and Intellectual Property category while ensuring optimal total cost approach & overall efficiency in delivering long term sustainable profitable growth
• Obtain an efficient vendor eco-system with strong supplier management practices and ensure usage of preferred supplier contracts to maximize results and to comply with the Procurement strategy
• Gather and analyze spend and cost data, identifying opportunities for consolidations and negotiations based on data as well as negotiating contracts to meet business requirements
• Influence the Essity's business units through strong stakeholder and relationship management as providing a clear direction in the creation and execution of category strategy
• Close cooperation and alignment with operational Procurement, to ensure implementation and deployment of programs and initiatives around the globe through efficient purchasing processes from the strategy to the delivery

• Bachelor degree, Master is an advantage with 8+ years adequate professional experience, ideally in a multinational environment or Consulting company
• Strong knowledge in different areas of Consulting services, Tax and Audit Services, Engineering Services, Research and Development services, Patent and Trademark Agents, as well as complementary services in these areas, with proven evidence of category management throughout the whole life cycle: from strategy creation through procurement and supplier management.
• Demonstrated experience in resilient cross-functional leadership while driving multi-functional projects in an international environment as well as strong data analysis skills and experience of running large scale global RFP processes
• Positive attitude, energy and confidence with good communication and relationship management skills with the ability to engage and efficiently influence internally and externally when setting directions and driving results
• Self-leadership and productive approach to actively remove complexities while inspiring and encouraging the team peers
• Proficient computer and procurement systems skills (MS Office, Ariba, SAP, Power BI)
• Fluent in English (written and oral), any other language is a plus
