FPGA Developer

Job description

We are looking for a skilled FPGA Developer to join our team in Skåne, Sweden. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and testing FPGA-based systems to support our product development efforts. This position requires strong technical expertise in FPGA design and a passion for innovation in hardware development.

• Design and implement FPGA logic for new products
• Develop and maintain HDL codebases
• Collaborate with hardware and software teams to integrate FPGA components
• Perform verification and validation of FPGA designs
• Troubleshoot and debug issues during development and production

Basic qualifications

• Experience with FPGA design and development
• Proficient in VHDL or Verilog
• Knowledge of digital signal processing and hardware description languages
• Experience with FPGA development tools such as Xilinx or Altera Quartus
• Ability to analyze and debug hardware designs

Preferred additional skills, personal traits and experience

• Familiarity with embedded systems
• Experience with simulation and verification frameworks
• Understanding of system-on-chip (SoC) architectures
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or TCL
• Knowledge of communication protocols
