The opportunity

We're looking for a Financial Controller who combines strong accounting skills with an interest in data, systems and smarter ways of working. Someone who takes ownership, sees opportunities and enjoys making a difference.

As Financial Controller, you'll have a broad role covering accounting, reporting, analysis and process improvement for legal entities across our European organization.

Based in our Financial Shared Service Center in Malmö, you'll work closely with Business Control, Group Finance, auditors and local teams across Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Germany, the UK and the Netherlands.

You'll own the monthly, quarterly and annual closing and reporting cycle, while supporting budgeting, audits and other financial processes. You'll also use financial data to spot trends, understand deviations and support better decisions.

And there's more. You'll be encouraged to challenge existing processes, explore new technology and drive improvements, automation and transformation across finance.

The successful applicant

We're looking for someone who is structured, curious and takes initiative. You understand how things work, ask the right questions and look for smarter ways forward when something doesn't add up.

Being analytical, collaborative and eager to learn is essential in this role. You have a strong interest in the bigger picture, challenge existing ways of working and have the drive to turn ideas into practical results.

The must-have list

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent
• 4-6 years of experience as a Financial Controller, Accountant or in a similar role
• Strong accounting and financial reporting skills
• Experience working in an international environment
• Strong Excel skills and a genuine interest in data and analysis
• Interest in ERP systems, digitalization and process improvement
• A proactive mindset and willingness to contribute to business transformation projects
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken

Bonus!

• It's a plus if you have experience with IFS, AARO or Power BI
