Your New Role

We are now looking for a Factory System Support (FSS) Specialist for an exciting assignment within a global manufacturing environment in Gothenburg. In this role, you will play a key part in a major system transformation program, supporting the introduction of new standardised factory IT/OT solutions, including Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and Track & Trace (T&T).

The assignment is divided into two phases. During the project phase, you will be part of a large-scale system implementation initiative, actively contributing to testing, configuration, training, issue resolution and stabilization activities. You will build deep understanding of factory processes, production environments, and integrated systems while working closely with both project and operations teams.

In the operational phase, you will transition into a full-time L2 Factory Systems Support role, providing hands-on, on-site support for factory systems. You will manage incidents and service requests via ServiceNow, troubleshoot factory IT/OT equipment, and ensure stable operations of production-critical systems. You will also contribute to continuous improvement, documentation, and knowledge sharing within the support organisation.

This is a highly operational and hands-on role, ideal for someone who enjoys working close to production environments and takes ownership from issue identification to resolution.

Company Presentation

You will join a large international manufacturing organisation undergoing a significant digital transformation across its production sites in Sweden. The environment is highly collaborative, technology-driven, and focused on operational excellence and continuous improvement.
