Join Nestlé Nordic - We are looking for the Power of You

Nestlé is the world's largest food and beverage company, with a strong focus on nutrition, health, and wellness. In the Nordic region, we combine global strength with local heritage, and the Zoégas coffee roastery in Helsingborg is a great example of this.

Nestlé Nordic is more than a workplace. Here, you are part of a community where people, development, and responsibility are at the heart of everything we do. We believe in diversity, inclusion, and creating an environment where you can bring your whole self to work. That's when we create long-term success together.

About the role

At Zoégas, every decision we make has one purpose: to continue delivering a cup of coffee of world-class quality. For more than 140 years, Zoégas has been a part of Swedish coffee culture, built on a passion for craftsmanship, quality, and continuous improvement.

As Factory Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our Helsingborg roastery and ensuring that this proud legacy continues for generations to come. Working in multidisciplinary teams, you will have a broad responsibility covering engineering, maintenance, CAPEX, asset management and long-term technical development.

This is a highly visible role where strategic thinking meets hands-on execution. You will be part of the Factory Leadership Team and work closely with Production, Quality, Safety and other functions across the site. You will also collaborate with Nestlé's Nordic and international engineering organization.

Key responsibilities

Lead and develop the factory's engineering function and technical agenda.

Have overall accountability for maintenance performance, strategy and development.

Develop and drive the factory's long-term asset management strategy.

Own the factory's CAPEX planning and investment portfolio, from long-term prioritization to project execution and follow-up.

Lead and support technical projects within production equipment, automation, utilities, energy and infrastructure.

Drive continuous improvement in reliability, preventive maintenance and technical performance.

Ensure technical installations and activities meet relevant safety, regulatory and technical compliance requirements.

Identify and drive energy-efficiency initiatives and technical improvements supporting the factory's sustainability ambitions.

Develop technical ways of working, processes, capabilities and competence within the organization.

Support problem solving and decision-making on complex technical and operational challenges.

What will make you successful

We believe you are an experienced engineer and leader who combines strong technical expertise with the ability to engage, influence, and inspire others. You take ownership and drive initiatives from idea to implementation, balancing strategic thinking with a hands-on approach. Comfortable both in management discussions and on the factory floor, you build trust through collaboration, communicate confidently with stakeholders at all levels, and motivate others to achieve shared goals. With energy, resilience, and a proactive mindset, you continuously identify opportunities and turn them into results.

Who we are looking for?

We believe you have a university degree in Engineering, for example Mechanical, Electrical, Automation Engineering or a related technical field, together with relevant experience from a technical role within manufacturing. You do not need to be the specialist in every technical discipline. What matters is your ability to understand the bigger picture, set priorities, make sound technical decisions and lead people with different areas of expertise towards common goals. You likely have experience from several areas such as engineering, maintenance, project management, CAPEX, automation, reliability or asset management. Experience from the food industry, process industry or another manufacturing environment is an advantage. As a person, you are structured and analytical while remaining pragmatic and comfortable working close to the operation. You enjoy developing both people and ways of working and are able to move between long-term strategic topics and the technical challenges that naturally arise in a manufacturing environment. You are fluent in both Swedish and English, written and spoken.

Why join Zoégas and Nestlé?

Zoégas combines a long industrial history with a modern and highly automated manufacturing environment where technology plays a central role in the business. As Factory Engineering Manager, you will have a broad mandate and significant opportunity to influence the future development of the factory. You will join an experienced technical organization with established processes and strong technical competence, while continuing to develop areas such as reliability, asset management, engineering and investment management. This is a role for someone who enjoys the combination of people, technology and continuous improvement - and wants to see tangible results from the work you and your team deliver.

Selection Process & Contact

We review applications on an ongoing basis, so we encourage you to apply as soon as possible. If you have any questions about the role, please feel free to reach out to Hiring Manager Rickard Lindström on LinkedIn. Join us and become part of a team that combines more than 140 years of coffee craftsmanship with a passion for innovation, continuous improvement, and delivering a world-class cup of coffee every day.

Nestlé Nordic is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity, value inclusion, and welcome applicants from all backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives.
