About the position

Perido is currently looking for a Facility Manager Lead for our client, a prominent global company within the automotive industry. In this role, you will be a key contact person supporting the R&D and Design teams on all facility-related matters. You will hold a broad range of responsibilities spanning facility contract management, landlord relations, strategic space optimization, and workplace enhancement initiatives. The position is located in Gothenburg.

Your daily tasks

• Manage facility-related contracts and lease agreements; lead negotiations, terminations, subleasing opportunities, and contractual modifications
• Ensure all contracts align with organizational needs regarding service, cost, and quality, proactively monitoring contract durations
• Continuously evaluate facility usage, identifying trends and opportunities to improve space efficiency, enhance the working environment, and lower operational costs
• Lead change management, office relocations, updates, and strategic initiatives to boost workplace functionality and employee experience
• Support the disposal and maintenance of facility assets (furniture/equipment) and participate in safety walks for common office areas
• Assist the Head of Facility Management and insurance broker in coordinating the European insurance portfolio

Qualifications:

• 8-12+ years of experience in Facility Management, Engineering, Business Administration or
  related field
• Experience working within R&D and Design environments
• Proven experience in budget management, cost management, negotiations, and contract management
• Full Driver's License (B-körkort) is required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Meritorious:

• Fluent in Swedish

Contract type and hours

Full-time, consulting assignment until 2027-03-31. Start 2026-10-01.
