Are you an experienced C++ Developer with a passion for telecom software development and real-time systems? Do you thrive in a highly technical, collaborative, and innovative environment, working on the core of 5G Baseband and RAN?
At ALTEN Gothenburg, we are looking for a Telecom Developer to join our team and contribute to the development and optimization of telecom infrastructure, network components, and real-time software. This role offers the chance to work with cutting-edge technology in 5G Baseband, and network protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, test, and optimize telecom software for 5G Baseband and RAN systems.
Work with real-time programming, low-latency processing, and performance optimization.
Debug and troubleshoot complex telecom software using GDB, Wireshark, and log analysis tools.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
Read, analyze, and implement 3GPP specifications and coding standards.
Key Competences:
BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field.
4+ years of experience in telecom software development.
Experience with real-time systems, Baseband, and RAN software development.
Knowledge and experience in 5G or 4G wireless communication.
Strong programming skills in C/C++ (required) and experience with Linux, multithreading, and low-latency systems.
Familiarity with telecom protocols MAC (scheduler) & L1 standards
AI-assisted software development, testing, debugging, and code generation would be a plus
Ability to read, analyze, and implement technical documentation and coding standards.
Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
