Data Specialist

to join our super talented and solution focused Business Data & Insights (BDI) team in Sweden, Stockholm or Jönköping?

Our BDI team is a key component of the Fulfillment and Logistics Services (FLS) business unit, operating across Finland, Sweden, and Norway. As a multinational team, we play a central role in advancing warehousing business development and driving digitalization initiatives. In this position, you will have the opportunity to contribute to engaging projects and work with highly diverse and extensive datasets. We are committed to supporting your professional growth through continuous learning opportunities, including training programs, courses, and industry-recognized certifications.

This is what we are looking for:

• Applicable higher university degree (economics, industrial engineering, business intelligence)
• Experience with SQL and Power BI
• Some experience with version control (GitHub)
• Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to take initiative and be innovative
• Verbal and written communication skills in English and Swedish
• Interest in logistics and material flows

Desirable:

• Familiarity with Python and Spark
• Familiarity with Confluence and JIRA

You will be responsible for supporting and collaborating with operations and business professionals, eliciting and interpreting requirements, and translating business needs into robust data services. Leveraging your expertise in data and programming, you will design and implement effective data solutions. In your role as a data specialist, you will collect data from multiple sources, ensure its quality and integrity, and prepare it for business use.-

You will work closely with colleagues from diverse professional backgrounds; therefore, strong collaboration and communication skills are essential. We seek an open-minded individual who demonstrates initiative, contributes thoughtful perspectives, and enhances existing solutions. You should be comfortable working with a wide range of technologies and adaptable to a dynamic, fast-evolving environment. Our team comprises data specialists and data scientists, offering opportunities to engage in challenging and high-impact projects. You will also collaborate closely with the ICT department and external consultants, contributing to a highly integrated and forward-thinking working environment.
