Be a part of operating the world's largest cloud computing infrastructure. Amazon Web Services is seeking a bright, motivated and hard working Data Center Logistics Specialist Trainee to join our Logistics Team as part of our Work Based Learning Program (WBLP). As a trainee, you will participate in our three months work and training program. This position will help ensure overall availability and reliability for our customers within our Data Centers in Sweden.

Key job responsibilities

The Logistics Specialist reviews data center inventory, in-bound shipments and ongoing demand to ensure that proper stock levels are maintained in all locations to support build and repair activities.

They work closely with Data Center Operations Technicians and Data Center Engineers to fulfill parts quickly and accurately.

AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we're the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. We work on the most challenging problems, with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain - and we're looking for talented people who want to help.

Responsibilities are divided between manual and administration tasks, including:

• Receiving and shipping parts, ensuring our Inventory management system is up to date and accurate at all times.

• Working with internal customers to fulfill part requests quickly and accurately.

• Executing stock re-balancing through transfers between locations locally and globally

• Responsible for Inventory management, regular cycle counts, customer-oriented storage space optimization, cleanliness, organization and safety of all workspace.

• Ability to travel to support other locations within commuting distance of Västerås

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- High school or equivalent diploma

- Are 18 years of age or older

- Work 40 hours/week

- Ability to lift items weighting up to 18kg

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- This position may require working in cramped spaces or in elevated locations while adhering to health & safety guidelines

- Familiarity with computer hardware components and operating systems

- Ability to manage work and priorities through a ticketing system and coordination with Manager

- Valid EU drivers license
