About the role
As a BDR at Hypergene, you will be an important link between marketing and sales. Your main focus is to identify and engage new potential customers - primarily finance leaders, controllers at mid-market and enterprise organizations in the Nordics - and to book qualified meetings for our Sales Executives.
Your day-to-day will combine structured outbound prospecting (phone, email, and LinkedIn) with qualification of inbound leads. You will work closely with both Sales Executives and the marketing team on targeting, messaging, and campaign follow-up.
This role is well suited for someone who is proactive, structured, and motivated by seeing progress and results over time.
What you will be doing
• Identify and reach out to new potential customers through structured outbound efforts.
• Qualify inbound leads and assess business potential.
• Book qualified meetings and ensure smooth handovers to Sales Executives.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing on messaging, targeting, and campaign follow-up.
• Maintain a structured pipeline in Salesforce and follow up consistently.
How you will be measured
• Activity (calls, emails, and other outreach)
• Qualified meetings booked
• Opportunities generated
Career development
We see the BDR role as a natural first step in a longer sales career at Hypergene. For those who perform well and want to grow, there is a path toward an Account Executive role, typically within 18-24 months, supported by structured coaching and mentorship.

• Is curious and genuinely interested in understanding the customer's needs.
• Works well independently and values close collaboration with colleagues.
• Communicates clearly and professionally in Swedish and English, both in writing and speech.
• Appreciates structure and consistent follow-up as part of an effective workflow.
Additional experience we value
• Previous experience in B2B sales, customer service, or prospecting.
• Familiarity with CRM systems, ideally Salesforce.
• Knowledge of prospecting tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
• Post-secondary education in business, economics, marketing, or a related field.
