Business Developer

We are looking for a Business Developer to join our Business Development team in Business Area Private. This position offers a unique opportunity to support and drive projects, initiatives, and investigations of strategic importance to Business Area Private in If but also an outstanding development platform for you at If.

About the role

This role will be dedicated to support the Private organization & management, our largest business area. You will work closely with two Business Development Managers, and this will be an opportunity for you to quickly grow and take more responsibility of leading projects and drive the strategic agenda across the Nordics for our private customers.

Your main responsibilities will be to:

• Support and drive projects and initiatives, ranging from strategic projects to implementation activities
• Conduct, document, and present analysis of key business investigations
• Support BA Private's continuous strategy process from analysis, decision-making to anchoring
• Drive communication activities across Business Area Private

About the team

Business Area Private is the Nordic market leader in the private segment of P&C insurance with more than three million customers. We offer a comprehensive range of insurance products including motor, property, and personal insurance. Our employees help us to daily live up to our customer promises in delivering excellent insurance products, claims and customer service.

Business Development Private is a central team supporting all of Business Area Private. The team consists of Business Development Managers, Project Managers and key specialists who drive strategic initiatives throughout the Nordics, ranging from strategic analyses to transformation projects, spanning across business and technology.

Who are you?

We are looking for forward-thinking person who excels in problem-solving and possesses an analytical mindset. You have ability to grasp, structure and address complex challenges, including analysing business needs and concluding recommendations on how these needs can be met, with a strong financial sense. You likely have prior experience from project management and facilitation roles and have a background in consulting, business development or similar positions (1-3 years).

You also have excellent communication and cooperation skills and ability to build trust with senior management. Collaborating with multiple stakeholders to align differing views into a common agenda comes naturally to you. Technology transformation is high on If's agenda and therefore interest for working on IT and technology projects is important.

You also have:

• Solid educational background with a university degree in a relevant field (business or technology)
• Fluency in English and Swedish or Finnish (written and spoken) is required.
