About the Role
You will play a key role in a large-scale D365 transformation within a complex automotive environment. The focus is on shaping how BI and reporting needs are captured, structured, prioritized, and turned into a clear backlog across areas such as Sales, Service, Order to Delivery, and Finance & Procurement.
In this role, you will be the main BI and reporting contact for several D365 work streams. You will work closely with business stakeholders, stream leads, architects, and IT to create structure where BI maturity varies and to guide discussions toward practical, solution-oriented outcomes. Job DescriptionYou will own the BI demand perspective across D365 work streams covering Sales, Service, Order to Delivery, and Finance & Procurement.
You will establish a consistent way of working for identifying, understanding, shaping, and prioritizing BI and reporting needs.
You will act as the main BI contact for stream leads and business stakeholders.
You will facilitate workshops and structured discussions to uncover current, emerging, and overlooked BI and reporting needs.
You will translate business needs into clear, structured BI requirements for assessment and prioritization.
You will own and maintain a consolidated D365 BI backlog, including priorities and initial solution direction.
You will assess where BI needs should be addressed across D365, Microsoft analytics solutions, or other relevant platforms in the landscape.
You will collaborate with domain leads, product owners, architects, and IT experts to validate solution directions and dependencies.
You will challenge assumptions constructively and guide stakeholders toward suitable BI and reporting solutions.
You will prepare prioritized requirements for handover to detailed design and implementation.
You will help establish the documentation, structure, and ways of working needed for transition to a permanent domain lead organization.
RequirementsM.Sc. or equivalent relevant academic background.
Strong experience in Business Intelligence, reporting, and analytics.
Experience working with BI demand management, requirements, prioritization, and backlog development.
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, preferably in a major transformation or implementation programme.
Good understanding of the Microsoft data and analytics ecosystem, including Power BI and Microsoft Fabric.
Good understanding of enterprise IT and solution landscapes.
Ability to understand technical alternatives and guide solution discussions without being a hands-on developer.
Ability to translate business needs into structured BI requirements and practical solution recommendations.
Experience working across business processes, architecture, and IT stakeholders.
Strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills.
Fluent English.
Nice to haveD365 experience from a transformation context.
Experience leading workshops with stakeholders at different levels of BI maturity.
Ability to create structure in complex environments and move work forward independently.
