Assignment Description

We are seeking an experienced Java Developer

What You Will Work On

Develop and maintain backend systems using Java 21+

Build REST-based services, integrations, and batch processing solutions

Design and work with enterprise architecture patterns (Jakarta EE / JPA)

Work with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or DB2, including data modeling

Participate in CI/CD pipeline development and version control workflows

Contribute to test automation and quality assurance processes

Collaborate with cross-functional agile teams

Support system maintenance, enhancement, and modernization

Participate in requirement analysis and technical design discussions

Ensure system stability, scalability, and long-term maintainability

What You Bring

Several years of experience in Java backend development

Strong experience with Java 21+ and enterprise application development

Experience with REST APIs, integrations, and batch processing

Knowledge of Jakarta EE and JPA-based architectures

Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, DB2) and data modeling

Experience with CI/CD tools such as Git, TeamCity, or Azure DevOps

Experience with test automation tools (e.g., ReadyAPI) is a plus

Experience from banking or financial services domain is a plus

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in teams

Strong communication skills in Swedish and English
