About the Role

You will step into a key role in a technically advanced rail environment where verification needs to be structured, traceable, and closely aligned with system delivery. Here, you will act as the link between engineering, testing, and project stakeholders to make sure verification activities support smooth implementation and reliable outcomes.

Job DescriptionYou will develop and maintain the project Verification Plan and Verification Report.

You will manage the full verification process across reviews, integration, and testing, while ensuring the required independence of activities.

You will assess documented evidence from reviews, integration, and test activities against defined verification objectives.

You will identify anomalies, evaluate their impact and risk, and communicate them to the relevant change management forum for decision.

You will coordinate test and development teams around overall test strategy and upcoming releases.

You will monitor ongoing test activities, identify new verification needs, and drive mitigation of testing gaps.

You will perform early gap analysis between systems and subsystems and create visibility around verification debt.

You will define entry and exit criteria for each test activity.

You will support and improve review processes for System Test Specifications and Test Scripts.

You will create and maintain bidirectional and horizontal traceability matrices.

You will define and follow up on uniform KPIs for test activities to support consolidated reporting.

You will collaborate with customer representatives on new operational scenarios and joint training activities.

RequirementsDegree in engineering, or a strong passion for engineering.

Experience or understanding of software requirements, data, and code.

Knowledge of different verification approaches and methodologies.

Ability to identify the most suitable verification method, or combination of methods, in a given context.

Familiarity with deriving verification types from specifications.

Experience in coordinating multiple verification teams.

Very good English skills.

Nice to haveUnderstanding of the CENELEC standard EN 50128.

Swedish language skills.

Strong analytical thinking and good observation skills.
