This role involves providing technical support and solution design for EV charging, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and photovoltaic (PV) projects. Beskrivning
The role combines pre-sales technical support, solution design, customer training, commissioning, and after-sales support. You will work closely with customers, sales teams, R&D, production, installers, and other partners throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide pre-sales technical consultation and solution design for EV charging, BESS, and PV projects.
• Prepare technical solutions based on customer requirements and site conditions, including:
o System sizing and architecture
o Product selection and configuration
o EV charger, BESS, and PV integration
o Economic analysis to identify cost-effective system configurations
• Support the sales team with technical clarification, project discussions, and the preparation of technical proposals.
• Conduct customer training, product demonstrations, and technical presentations independently.
• Perform or support on-site commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, and configuration of EV chargers and BESS systems.
• Provide after-sales technical support, including fault analysis, troubleshooting, and coordination with customers, installers, and internal engineering teams.
• Work closely with R&D and product teams to communicate field feedback and support technical issue resolution and product improvement.
• Travel mainly within Sweden, with occasional travel to other Nordic and European markets as required for commissioning, troubleshooting, training, customer visits, and other technical support activities.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Power Engineering, Automation, or another relevant technical field.
• Good understanding of industrial low-voltage (LV) electrical systems, particularly 400 V three-phase systems commonly used in commercial and industrial applications.
• Familiarity with electrical components and equipment such as power cables, circuit breakers, protection devices, energy meters, current transformers (CTs), controllers, switches, relays, and electrical distribution equipment.
• Ability to understand basic cable sizing, electrical connections, power distribution, protection concepts, and equipment interfaces.
• Ability to read and interpret single-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, electrical schematics, technical documentation, and system diagrams.
• Comfortable working hands-on with electrical and control equipment during testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities.
• Able to independently perform basic system checks, equipment configuration, commissioning preparation, and fault diagnosis within the scope of the role.
• Strong interest in renewable energy, energy storage, EV charging, smart energy management, and electrification technologies.
• Good communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with sales teams, engineers, customers, installers, and other partners.
• Proficiency in English is required.
Preferred Qualifications
The following qualifications are considered strong advantages:
• Previous experience in EV charging infrastructure, BESS, power systems, renewable energy, PV, EMS, or related technologies.
• Experience working with 400 V LV distribution systems, switchboards, electrical cabinets, meters, controllers, and related field equipment.
• Experience with commissioning, troubleshooting, testing, or technical support of electrical or power electronic equipment.
• Practical understanding of power cables, cable selection, CTs, energy meters, protection devices, and electrical measurement equipment.
• Experience using common electrical measurement and diagnostic tools during commissioning and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of communication protocols and interfaces such as Modbus TCP/RTU, OCPP, Ethernet, RS485, or similar industrial communication systems.
• Basic understanding of industrial networking, IP configuration, and communication between chargers, BESS, meters, controllers, and EMS systems is an advantage.
• Swedish or European electrical qualification/certificate, or relevant practical experience in electrical installation and commissioning.
