As Sustainability Specialist Dairy, you are responsible for translating DeLaval's sustainability ambitions into clear, tangible customer value. By bringing strong customer insight and sustainability expertise, you help ensure that customer value and business relevance are consistently considered in sustainability initiatives and priorities. Through customer engagement and close collaboration with key stakeholders across the organisation, you develop compelling value propositions and customer cases and contribute to a clearer focus on where DeLaval should direct its sustainability efforts for greatest value and impact.
In this role you will:
- Act as the dairy sustainability expert, ensuring that sustainability-related initiatives are grounded in deep dairy knowledge and focused on developing and supporting customer value.
- Support and help advance the sustainability agenda, providing expert guidance to key stakeholders across the organisation.
- Translate relevant sustainability needs, trends, standards, and requirements in dairy into practical commercial guidance.
- Actively contribute to the Global Sustainability Group and sustainability projects, support knowledgesharing across the organisation.
- Develop and maintain valuable sustainability tools and materials in line with the business strategy, regulations and guidelines.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role we believe that you have:
- Solid understanding of dairy farming, the dairy value chain, and on-farm sustainability levers.
- Experience working with sustainability in a commercial context, such as customer projects, consulting, or value-creation initiatives.
- Strong ability to translate complex sustainability data into clear, credible customer messaging and decision-support material.
- Experience working with GHG emissions reduction, circularity related topics, and practical hands on experience with LCA is an advantage.
- Understanding of sustainability reporting requirements and standards, such as CSRD/ESRS and others.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience collaborating across functions and geographies.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Dairy or Food Science, Agriculture, or a related field or experience equivalent to similar degrees.

This is a full-time permanent position based at DeLaval's headquarters in Tumba, south of Stockholm. We offer a hybrid workplace model, allowing flexibility to work remotely.
