As ourCybersecurity Lead, you will be the heart of our security vision and a key mentor for our technical community. We are looking for a collaborative leader to guide our transition toward safety and compliance, ensuring our codebases andEdge devicesare built with care and resilience. This hybrid role is perfect for someone who enjoys bridging the gap between thoughtful embedded engineering and the evolving European legal landscape-nurturing the standards our developers follow while staying hands-on to help bring our solutions to life.

You will join and flourish within our R&D Cloud and Diagnostics team, working together to support the platforms that keep global cargo moving safely. Because our work is vital to world infrastructure, your role is about more than just compliance; it is about fostering trust and ensuring our products remain a reliable foundation for our customers. By weaving security into the heart of our daily work, you will be a vital contributor to Bromma's digitalization strategy and the future of the cargo handling industry.

What are your key responsibilities:

  • Regulatory Leadership & Compliance: Interpret Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) requirements, translating complex legal mandates into actionable technical specifications and architectural roadmaps for engineering teams.
  • SDL Lifecycle Ownership: Architect and enforce the Secure Development Lifecycle (SDL), overseeing the full security continuum from initial threat modeling through to robust incident response strategies.
  • Systemic Edge Hardening: Secure proprietary Linux distributions at the build level, leveraging Yocto and CMake to implement hardware-rooted trust and OS-level hardening.
  • Secure Code Governance: Lead technical code reviews with a focus on memory safety, secure library integration, and the mitigation of vulnerabilities in high-performance C++ environments.
  • Edge Platform Development: Actively contribute to the design and evolution of core edge computing platforms, ensuring performance and security are treated as inseparable priorities.

What you bring to the role:

  • Core Systems Programming: Expert-level C++ development and advanced Shell scripting for automation and system-level tasks.
  • Linux Internals & Hardening: Deep technical knowledge of the Linux kernel, including the implementation and configuration of security modules (LSM).
  • Security by Design: Over 5 years of experience architecting resilient software architectures, specifically within high-stakes Industrial, IoT, and Automotive environments.
  • DevSecOps & Supply Chain Security: Hands-on experience ensuring code integrity through Static Analysis (SAST) tools and managing software transparency via SBOM generation.
  • Embedded Sector Expertise: Proven track record of delivering secure, mission-critical applications that meet the rigorous safety and security standards of the automotive and industrial sectors.
