Senior Electronics Engineer - Hardware Area
Om jobbet
We are now looking for a Senior Electronics engineer to join our Hardware Area in Linköping. While ACTIA Nordics roots are in the automotive industry, we now support clients across a variety of industries, where we offer in-house innovative development collaborations for our customers. Just as important as innovation is our responsibility to the planet. Sustainability is not just a checkbox for us - it is a crucial part of who we are. Our vision is to make the World Green Safe and Connected. That means, for a hardware engineer, actively choosing components with lower environmental impact and continuously seeking to reduce Scope 3 emissions throughout our supply chain and product lifecycle. With other words - designing smart and robust products that emits low emissions.
As an electronics engineer at ACTIA Nordic you'll work in a team with development of reliable, cost-effective electronic hardware systems. This means taking responsibility across the entire hardware development cycle: from technical pre-studies and environmental impact analysis through schematic and PCB design, then through HW-verification, just before production launch.
We are also conducting deep analysis of any of our products that have been sent back to us by the customer.
You'll also work closely with the other areas and teams within our R&D function, such as software development for Light Vehicles and Heavy Trucks. Hence, experience from embedded software development will come in handy.
You'll work with:
- Altium for schematic capture and PCB layout.
- Simulation tools, calculations, and DFMEA to validate your designs.
- Sustainability analysis as part of your component selection process-ensuring performance without compromise to environmental responsibility. ACTIA Groups has developed it's own tool ('EcoMatrix') for estimating environmental impact.
You'll also have the opportunity to work on our flagship telematics initiative, ACU-6, and it's next iteration, which we have currently started the development of. The ACU-6 is currently used by customers in the light vehicle market and the high-end automotive market.
We're looking for an experienced and technically sharp electronics engineer who can think creatively under constraints. You likely have:
- A degree in electronics, electrical engineering, or a related field.
- Experience working in international project settings.
- Strong English language skills (spoken and written).
- A passion for solving real-world problems-and possibly a few personal tech projects that show it.
It's a plus if you have:
- Experience in the automotive or other high-reliability sectors.
- Familiarity with eco-conscious hardware development or circular design principles.
