At Hitachi Energy, we are now looking for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join our engineering team within Grid Automation Sweden. With us, you will work with advanced technology and substation automation while contributing to a sustainable and secure energy future.

How you'll make an impact:

Design relay and control systems for substations in close collaboration with customers and project teams

Play a central role in projects and lead the electrical design, contributing technical expertise and innovative solutions

Work closely with our international engineering teams in India and the Czech Republic to ensure the highest quality and efficiency

Be part of a culture driven by safety, quality, and innovation

Engage in networks and knowledge sharing, where we support and develop one another

Your background

Min 5 years of experience in electrical design within transmission and distribution projects

Experience using EPC ElMaster for drafting and design

Proficiency in Swedish and English

A proactive and solution-oriented mindset - you identify opportunities, enjoy collaborating with others and can easily take lead when needed.

A university degree or vocational (YH) education in electrical or other relevant technical field (considered an advantage)
