Power Quality (formerly known as FACTS) technology enables power systems owners to increase their existing power systems' capacity while improving electrical stability. The result is that more electrical power can reach consumers with minimal environmental impact after shorter project times and at lower investment costs. This pioneering technology is developed at the Grid & Power Quality Solutions and Service unit in Västerås at our Global Centre of Competence and delivered to customers worldwide.

We are seeking a Preventive Maintenance Plan Specialist at the Global Center of Competence for Power Quality Service in Sweden. In this crucial role, you will align the Preventive Maintenance plan with customer requirements, ensuring reliability and availability at the station. Additionally, you will take the lead in developing our approach to maintenance procedures, leveraging digital tools to stay at the forefront of societal development.

Your responsibilities

• Create and develop the Preventive Maintenance Plans for ongoing tenders and projects.
• Communicate with both Tender team and Project team to ensure alignment with station design.
• Take ownership of the Preventive Maintenance general information on equipment (database Maintenance).
• Develop and implement maintenance procedures, leveraging digital tools.
• Make sure to understand maintenance requirements from sub-suppliers and any specific details provided by customers.

Your background

• You have a couple of years of work experience with customer requirements specified in project documentation.
• Your experience allows you to understand the complexity involved in the solution.
• You understand electrical installations and interpret documentation, including Single Line Diagrams and other electrical/mechanical drawings.
• You have a talent for structuring and prioritizing your work effectively, especially when handling multiple tasks.
• You pay close attention to details, actively listen, and are curious about how we can continuously improve and grow.
• Fluent English is a requirement due to our global presence, and proficiency in other languages (such as Swedish) is advantageous.
• Any experience in commissioning and/or service engineering is beneficial.
