We are seeking a Postdoctoral Researcher for the project Sustainable Work Environment and Safe Clinical Implementation in Maternity Care.
The project combines research on organisational work environments with clinical research in maternity and childbirth care. It is based on the premise that sustainable healthcare development requires knowledge of healthcare professionals' working conditions, organisational factors, implementation processes, and patients' experiences. The project is conducted within an interdisciplinary research environment and includes both qualitative and quantitative research approaches.
Duties/job desription
As a Postdoctoral Researcher, you will play a central role in the implementation and development of the project. You will independently plan, conduct, and follow up research activities in close collaboration with the principal investigator and other researchers. Your work will encompass the entire research process, from data collection and analysis to scientific publication and dissemination of findings.
Your responsibilities will include:
The position also includes contributing to the development of analytical strategies, conducting qualitative and/or quantitative analyses, interpreting results, and taking an active role in producing scientific publications.
You are also expected to contribute to the development of the research environment through collaboration with internal and external partners and by actively participating in knowledge dissemination and scientific communication.
Eligibility
To be eligible for this postdoctoral position, applicants must hold a doctoral degree, artistic doctorate, or a foreign qualification deemed equivalent to a doctoral degree. This requirement must be fulfilled at the time of the appointment decision.
Priority will be given to applicants who obtained their doctoral degree no more than three years prior to the application deadline. Exceptions can be made for specific reasons such as parental leave, illness, union commitments, national service, or relevant clinical or subject-related professional experience.
Qualifications
pplicants must hold a doctoral degree in a relevant field, such as Health Care Sciences, Nursing, Midwifery, Public Health, or a closely related discipline.
Documented experience is required in:
Applicants must also demonstrate expertise in both qualitative and quantitative research methodology and analysis, together with a thorough understanding of the research process, including research ethics, data management, documentation, and good research practice.
Excellent written and spoken English is required. Proficiency in written and spoken Swedish is considered an advantage.
The position requires good knowledge of Microsoft 365 and the ability to manage research data securely, systematically, and in accordance with quality standards.
Meritorious Qualifications
The following qualifications are considered advantageous:
Registration as a licensed midwife in Sweden is also considered an advantage.

- Managing research data, including data processing and quality assurance.
- Taking an active and independent role in manuscript preparation, including drafting the results, methods, and discussion sections of scientific publications.
- Compiling and presenting research findings to the project team, collaborators, and at scientific conferences.
- Contributing to the development of the project's research questions, analytical strategies, and future publications.

Registration as a licensed midwife in Sweden is also considered an advantage.
