We are seeking a Postdoctoral Researcher for the project Sustainable Work Environment and Safe Clinical Implementation in Maternity Care.

The project combines research on organisational work environments with clinical research in maternity and childbirth care. It is based on the premise that sustainable healthcare development requires knowledge of healthcare professionals' working conditions, organisational factors, implementation processes, and patients' experiences. The project is conducted within an interdisciplinary research environment and includes both qualitative and quantitative research approaches.

Duties/job desription

As a Postdoctoral Researcher, you will play a central role in the implementation and development of the project. You will independently plan, conduct, and follow up research activities in close collaboration with the principal investigator and other researchers. Your work will encompass the entire research process, from data collection and analysis to scientific publication and dissemination of findings.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Planning and conducting data collection, including interviews, focus groups, document analyses, and survey- or register-based data collection.
  • Independently conducting systematic qualitative analyses and contributing to methodologically rigorous interpretation of research data.
  • Performing and interpreting statistical analyses, including descriptive statistics and regression models, in consultation with the principal investigator and, where appropriate, statistical experts.
  • Managing research data, including data processing and quality assurance.
  • Taking an active and independent role in manuscript preparation, including drafting the results, methods, and discussion sections of scientific publications.
  • Compiling and presenting research findings to the project team, collaborators, and at scientific conferences.
  • Contributing to the development of the project's research questions, analytical strategies, and future publications.

The position also includes contributing to the development of analytical strategies, conducting qualitative and/or quantitative analyses, interpreting results, and taking an active role in producing scientific publications.

You are also expected to contribute to the development of the research environment through collaboration with internal and external partners and by actively participating in knowledge dissemination and scientific communication.
