We are seeking a skilled and experienced PLM System Implementation Specialist to join our team in GPQSS and play a key role in implementing and configuring a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system.

In this role your mission is to champion best practices in designing and implementing PLM applications. You'll align these applications and solutions with our business requirements, making a tangible impact on our global digital initiatives. Your ability to bridge communication gaps and facilitate effective collaboration will be crucial in ensuring successful PLM system deployment.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end implementation of the PLM system, from planning to execution.
• Assess current business processes and identify opportunities for improvement through PLM integration.
• Evaluate PLM capabilities for Configure-to-Order (CTO) requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design PLM solutions that align with overall business goals.
• Provide guidance on best practices and process improvements.
• Develop comprehensive documentation for PLM configurations and workflows
• Conduct training sessions for end-users during the transition to the new PLM environment.
• Continuously monitor system performance and recommend enhancements.

Your background

• Possess domain expertise and proven experience in successfully implementing PLM systems like Teamcenter (preferably), Aras, Arena, PTC etc.
• Experience in Mechanical Engineering involving 3D modelling seen as preferrable
• Strong understanding of Configure-to-Order (CTO) processes and customization within a PLM framework.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with Hitachi Energy standards and practices is beneficial.
• As you will be working in a global, multicultural environment, fluency in English, written and spoken alike, is required. Other languages are a merit.
