Your role
We are looking for an experiencedMigration Discovery & Assessment Leadwho will play a key role in large-scale enterprise transformation and cloud migration initiatives. This role is critical in shaping successful migration programs by creating clarity, structure, and direction at the very start of the journey.
As Migration Discovery & Assessment Lead, you will be responsible for understanding complex enterprise IT landscapes, translating data into insights, and turning those insights into clear, executable migration roadmaps that align technology with business goals.

You will:
• Lead discovery and assessment activities for large enterprise environments, covering applications, infrastructure, platforms, and dependencies
• Collect, structure, and analyze large volumes of data from multiple sources such as CMDBs, discovery tools, workshops, and interviews
• Assess on premises and cloud environments and define target-state migration strategies
• Design and present migration roadmaps, including migration waves, dependencies, risks, recommended migration approaches, and associated cost and TCO considerations
• Translate technical findings into clear, decision-ready proposals, including TCO analysis and migration business cases, for architects, IT leadership, and business stakeholders
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, helping them understand what to migrate, how to migrate, and in which order
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and business representatives to ensure alignment between technical feasibility, financial viability, and business priorities

Your profile
We are looking for someone who combines strong analytical skills, broad technical knowledge, and excellent communication abilities.

You also have:
• Proven experience leading discovery and assessment phases in enterprise migration projects
• Strong background in on premises infrastructure (data centers, servers, networks, storage, virtualization, operating systems)
• Solid experience with public cloud platforms (Azure, AWS and/or GCP) and cloud migration concepts
• Hands-on experience with one or more migration and discovery tools, such as Azure Migrate, AWS Application Discovery Service, AWS Application Migration Service (MGN), Cast Highlight, Cast Imaging, Cloudamize, and Txture
• Ability to work with complex data sets and transform them into structured insights and actionable recommendations
• Full working proficiency in both Swedish and English
