Are you a results-oriented commercial leader who thrives at the heart of the business?
As Managing Director of Damstahl, you will lead a market-leading sales organisation and hold overall responsibility for sales, market development and financial performance. The head office is located in Malmö, with sales offices in Gothenburg and Stockholm. Sweden is the largest market and has an established sales organisation led by a Sales Director. The Swedish business generates revenue of approximately SEK 800-900 million and has 30 employees, 16 of whom are focused on sales. Damstahl also has a sales office and warehouses in Sweden, Norway and one salesperson in Finland.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Identifying new market segments and business opportunities
• Strengthening Damstahl's market position and developing the product mix in prioritised areas
• Representing Damstahl in business negotiations, industry forums and trade fairs
• Overall responsibility for the company's operations and performance in 3 Nordic countries
• Ensure that the strategy is translated into specific objectives and action plans.
• Be the culture ambassador and ensure that the organization's structure and capabilities support current and future business needs
You will lead the Swedish, Norwegian and Finnish operations with a clear mandate strategically. You will refer to the Damstahl's Group CEO. The role involves approximately two days of travel per week, enabling you to remain close to the organisation, the business and market developments.

Who are you?
You are a results-oriented commercial leader who wants to stay close to the business. You understand how warehousing and logistics contribute to commercial success and can demonstrate, through documented results, that you have created profitable growth as a Sales Director or Managing Director within B2B-preferably in an industrial business with warehousing operations.
You have a strong ability to turn plans into action and can analyze market developments and the competitive landscape, translating these insights into clear commercial priorities. Experience from steel, metals, technical distribution or a related industrial sector is a significant advantage. Knowledge of tubes, fittings and flanges is particularly valuable, as this is a key area for growth. Fluency in spoken and written English and Swedish is required.
