What You'll Do

As a Manager at BCG Platinion in the Nordics, you are responsible for the execution and management of our national and international client projects. We collaborate with colleagues from BCG Platinion and/or the Boston Consulting Group on site and directly with the client company. The Manager role incorporates structuring the project and performing the required resource planning. Besides the functional navigation of the project members, you will also be involved operationally in the project business.

At BCG Platinion, you will:

• Take end-to-end responsibility for complex digital and AI transformation projects, defining the overall approach, structuring workstreams, planning resources, and assuring the quality and impact of delivery

• Act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, translating business ambitions into technology and AI strategies, roadmaps, operating models, investment priorities, and implementation plans

• Shape portfolios of high-value AI and GenAI opportunities and the foundations required to scale them, including data and technology capabilities, platforms and architectures, governance, responsible AI, and ways of working

• Steer delivery across business, technology, data, and AI teams, manage complex dependencies and risks, resolve escalations, and drive alignment on critical decisions from strategy through implementation

• Lead and develop multidisciplinary project teams, providing direction and coaching to consultants, architects, and specialists while ensuring strong collaboration and high-quality outcomes

• Build lasting client relationships and contribute entrepreneurially to BCG Platinion by identifying and winning new projects and advancing our people, recruiting, knowledge, and practice areas

What You'll Bring

You can help us make a difference if you

• Have at least six years of substantial experience in IT consulting or digital transformation, including leading complex strategy and implementation projects end to end

• Have a degree in computer science, informatics, engineering, business with a focus on technology, or another relevant field, or bring equivalent relevant industry experience

• Have a proven track record of leading multidisciplinary project teams, managing several workstreams, and taking accountability for delivery quality, team performance, and client outcomes

• Have experience advising senior executives, facilitating critical decisions, presenting recommendations at the highest levels of client management, and resolving complex risks and escalations

• Have a strong understanding of how developments across AI and GenAI, cloud, data, software, and digital platforms are changing businesses and technology organizations

• Bring practical experience shaping or delivering AI and GenAI transformations, including prioritizing use cases, defining the foundations required to scale, and addressing agentic AI and responsible AI

• Can translate business priorities into technology initiatives, investment roadmaps, and robust business cases, balancing value, feasibility, cost, risk, and organizational readiness

• Have a proven track record of building trusted client relationships, developing proposals, winning consulting work, and contributing to people development, recruiting, knowledge development, and practice building

• Feel particularly comfortable in interdisciplinary teams and global contexts and are willing to travel

• Are excellent at understanding and communicating complex topics in English

Who You'll Work With

You will work as part of interdisciplinary BCG and BCG Platinion teams combining business, industry, technology, data, and AI expertise. As a Manager, you will take end-to-end responsibility for complex projects, lead multidisciplinary teams, and act as a trusted advisor to senior client executives and technology leaders. Depending on the project, you may shape an enterprise AI strategy, prioritize technology investments, design an operating model, assess platforms and architectures, or lead a large-scale transformation from strategy through implementation.

Beyond project delivery, you will help grow our clients, people, and business by developing long-term relationships, creating new opportunities, coaching colleagues, and contributing to recruiting, knowledge, and practice development.
