DeLaval is a leading developer, manufacturer, and supplier of solutions for dairy farmers around the world. As a company built on innovation, we constantly work to find ways of helping our customers do more with less.

At DeLaval, safety, health and environmental responsibility are essential parts of how we operate. We are now looking for an experienced HSE Manager (Health, Safety and Environment) who will lead and develop our HSE work at our production site in Tumba.

Role and responsibilities
As HSE Manager, you will lead and develop the site's health, safety and environmental work while ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable regulations. The role combines strategic and operational responsibilities, requiring close collaboration with managers, employees and global colleagues. You will play a key role in strengthening the safety culture, driving continuous improvements and supporting the business in creating a safe and sustainable workplace.

Key responsibilities:
• Lead and continuously develop the site's health, safety and environmental work.
• Support management in defining HSE objectives and driving the local HSE strategy and vision.
• Promote a strong safety culture through proactive reporting, risk assessments, investigations and preventive activities.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, company requirements and established safety procedures.
• Support projects, audits, inspections and safety committees, while acting as an advisor on HSE-related matters.
• Develop and deliver HSE training programs and drive awareness across the organization.
• Prepare and coordinate internal and external HSE reporting.
• Identify improvement opportunities and support the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role we believe that you have:
• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Environmental Health, or a related field or experience equivalent to similar degrees
• Ideally, about 5 years' practical experience as a Senior HSE role developing and implementing HSE programs.
• Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, standards, and compliance requirements.
• Experience assessing compliance and supporting or conducting HSE audits.
• Fluent Swedish and English, both verbally and in written format

To succeed in this role, you enjoy working both strategically and operationally and are comfortable collaborating with stakeholders at different levels of the organization. You have a structured approach, communicate clearly and are motivated by creating a safe and sustainable work environment. You are proactive, improvement-oriented and comfortable influencing and engaging others in health, safety and environmental matters.

• Parental leave compensation (approx. 10 percent of the employee's monthly salary).
• Wellness allowance of SEK 4 000/year.
• Private healthcare insurance.
• Flexible working hours and reduced working hours.
• 30 days paid annual leave.
