THE OPPORTUNITY

As a Finance Trainee at Oatly, you'll have the chance to immerse yourself in all aspects of finance within a fast-paced and collaborative environment. This hands-on role will provide you with experience across financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and more. You'll work closely with experienced leaders who are passionate about mentoring and developing the next generation of finance leaders.

You will gain a deep understanding of all our business areas through a combination of practical and theoretical components. The tasks will be diverse and educational, tailored to leverage your specific skills. Our goal is for you to feel both personally and professionally developed for your future professional role upon completion of the program.

WHAT WILL YOU DO

• Work with Functions controllers to improve Global Overhead reporting
• Drive various projects to improve processes across functions and regions
• Support transformation initiatives to increase efficiencies across the organization, while simplifying the reporting to senior management
• Support Group business control in creating an innovative way to map how the organization spends its money, allowing actionable Insights on how to increase efficiencies of our spend
• Structure, plan, document and drive various projects in the Finance transformation domain such as finance automation initiatives, regional reporting standardization and legal entity consolidation, among others.
• Work with Finance leaders, advisors, IT organizations globally throughout the Group

The employment starts with a probationary period of six months, beginning inearly September 2024. The trainee period extends until the end of April 2025. The location for the program will be at our HQ in Malmö, and you will work globally.

WHO YOU ARE

Besides being a good communicator, like numbers, you have an analytic, structured approach and willingness to learn. You are always looking for opportunities for improvement and can handle constant changes!

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business; or you love numbers!
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong desire and motivation to develop a career as a future employee and leader in the finance function.
• Hardworking, detail-oriented, and diligent.
• Positive attitude, collaborative, and highly self-motivated.
• Resilience and comfort working in a start-up environment.
• Strong qualitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Result-oriented with initiative, ownership, and accountability.
• Good project management skills.
• Ability to handle multiple assignments, exercise good judgment, and prioritize projects and time effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
