CBRE Global Workplace Solutions (CBRE GWS) is a leading global provider in property management, and assists our clients with the operation of their properties/premises/critical installations by offering world-class Facility Management services. CBRE also offers project management and consultancy linked to operation, development and management of properties.
For our CBRE DCS department, which offers operation of locations with critical installations, we are now looking for a Technical Team Leader to lead and coordinate the technical team, as well as the daily monitoring and maintenance tasks. The position also works closely with and reports to the Critical Facility Manager (CFM), and is located in Kristiansand where we take care of all technical operations for one of our customers.
About the position and tasks
Together, the team of 3 middle managers must ensure:
• Personnel management of all technicians on site.
• Planning shift plans and ensuring that all shifts are always properly staffed.
• Holiday planning
• Planning of daily operations
• Planning of long-term tasks in our delivery.
• Planning of optimization of the technical facility and implementation of improvements.
• Prioritization and resource planning between different tasks
• Technical coordination of service agreements and cooperation with subcontractors.
• Training and new hires of technicians.
• Together with CFM, ensure that control routines and other statutory and contractual obligations are fulfilled.
• Ensure that work is carried out according to internal and statutory HSE rules and other routines. There are high requirements for quality and documentation, which means that you must ensure detailed planning before the work is carried out, and that all documentation afterwards is in place.
• Ensure efficient and smooth operation, as well as maintain good relations with customers.
• Participate in various meetings, prepare reports and keep control of the entire technical operation.
Personal suitability and desirable qualifications
To be successful in this position, we envision that you have a technical education, and you must have broad technical knowledge and be willing to continue learning and developing yourself, as well as share your experiences. You are good at communicating at all levels, are structured and have a keen eye for details. You must have good IT knowledge, a good user level within MS Office and the ability to easily learn new systems.
It is an advantage to have experience from experience from critical environments or in cooling technology, mechanics, electrical, plumbing or process industry. Certificate is not an absolute requirement.
