Data Analyst in B2B

We are seeking a highly motivated, skilled, and experienced Data Analyst to join our Nordic Analytics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing TV4 B2B Analytical competences, providing valuable insights to drive business decisions, and contributing to the growth and success of our company.

In this role, you will work closely with your Nordic Analytics colleagues and B2B business stakeholders to identify key business questions and develop data-driven solutions. You will use your expertise in data model development, business understanding, and data visualization to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that will inform our strategy and direction.

Your team
Your team is responsible for all analytics development across TV4 in Sweden and MTV in Finland. As Nordic Analytics, we operate across both countries to maximize Nordic synergies and share best research, analysis, insight and ideas, while offering outstanding business support and insight locally. We thrive for increasing understanding our customers and advertising clients to make TV4 and MTV more data driven organizations. While you're the sole analyst supporting B2B organization, you'll have a counterpart in Finland in a similar role and 23 other senior professional team members helping you to succeed.

What we expect from you
You are genuinely curious about data and analytics, know how to refine it for business needs, and easily understand business through data and numbers. Your working methods are analytical and systematic and you move things forward with determination. You get concrete things done - develop, design and implement workflows and tools to support B2B Sales organization. Succeeding in this role also requires excellent interactional and communicational skills both in English and Swedish and the ability to get along with different kinds of people.

To succeed in this position, you need strong and demonstrable skills on how to explore and refine data in a SQL based database (Snowflake), and edit and develop even complex Excel files, and build reports on the results with Power BI or QlikSense. A university degree in mathematics or business, for example, as well as experience from media agency, sales organization or media company.

In the role as Data Analyst, you will:

• Develop and define data models that are scalable and usable for B2B analytics use cases
• Build, develop and administrate BI reports in Power BI or QlikSense
• Provide proactive analysis and insight to whole B2B organization
• Discover and develop new analytics initiatives and provide outstanding business support
• Manage and prioritize analytics projects within B2B business area
• Collaborate with Nordic Analytics colleagues and Nordic Product & Tech organization
• Communicate findings and insights to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner

• Have an essential impact developing B2B TV4 analytics and making it a success story

Requirements:

• Proven working experience as a data analyst or business data analyst, preferably in media agency, sales organization or media
• Technical expertise regarding data models and database design development
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
• Adept at SQL queries and creating reports in Power BI or QlikSense and presenting key findings and insight
• Excellent communication and interaction skills in English and Swedish
• Project management and prioritization skills
• Proactive and development oriented mindset
• Outstanding self leadership skills
• Adequate education in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, or Statistics
