About the Role

You will take a key role in shaping how external consultants are engaged in a large and complex organization. The focus is on making consultant sourcing structured, compliant, and efficient from initial demand through onboarding, extensions, and offboarding.

In this role, you work close to hiring stakeholders, suppliers, Procurement, and adjacent teams to create clarity in demand, improve sourcing quality, and support sound commercial decisions. You will operate in an environment with shifting priorities and many touchpoints, where accuracy, judgement, and the ability to influence without formal authority are central.

Job DescriptionYou will manage the full consultant engagement lifecycle for assigned staff augmentation demand, with accurate administration, traceability, and compliant handling in relevant systems.

You will review intake submissions, clarify scope and requirements, and challenge unclear or incomplete demand to support better sourcing and engagement decisions.

You will lead competitive sourcing through the preferred supplier network and handle exceptions with clear rationale and the right escalation when needed.

You will select and brief suppliers, assess incoming profiles, build shortlists, and give structured feedback to improve quality, relevance, and speed over time.

You will support consultant selection and fee alignment together with hiring stakeholders, while contributing to cost awareness through rate guidance and benchmarking where relevant.

You will manage extensions, early terminations, offboarding, and compliance-related escalations in close collaboration with Procurement and other stakeholders.

You will contribute to KPI follow-up, reporting, and continuous improvement of ways of working connected to external consultant engagement.

RequirementsRelevant experience in consultant acquisition, contingent workforce coordination, procurement-supported hiring, or a similar role involving supplier interaction, stakeholder management, and end-to-end process coordination in a complex environment.

Relevant academic background or equivalent professional experience in HR, business, procurement, operations, or a related field.

Strong ability to manage stakeholders, clarify demand, challenge unclear requirements, and support sound decisions without formal authority.

Good commercial awareness, structured judgement, attention to detail, and the ability to balance cost, quality, speed, and compliance.

Experience working in an evolving environment with shifting priorities.

Strong familiarity with Vendor Management Systems (VMS), KPI follow-up, and reporting.

Ability to collaborate effectively across business functions and hiring stakeholders while maintaining delivery quality and supporting continuous improvement.
