We are currently hiring an Accountant to be based in Stockholm/Trollhättan

Your mission at Epassi

Your mission is to ensure accurate, compliant, and timely financial operations by maintaining reliable accounting records and supporting the company's financial processes. In this role, you will help deliver high-quality financial reporting, ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies, and contribute to maintaining well-documented, audit-ready financial records while collaborating closely with internal stakeholders.

Your responsibilities will be:
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date accounting records
  • Preparing and supporting monthly and yearly financial reporting
  • Performing Balance Sheet reconciliations and financial documentation
  • Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies
  • Supporting credit control and invoicing processes
  • Contributing to the preparation of financial statements and tax returns
  • Supporting the finance team with various accounting and reporting tasks

You'll be successful in this role if you:
  • Deliver accurate accounting and reconciliations on time
  • Maintain high-quality documentation that is audit-ready
  • Follow accounting standards and internal policies consistently
  • Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and finance team members
  • Demonstrate a structured, detail-oriented, and proactive approach to work

What you'll be doing (daily):
  • Performing daily accounting activities and maintaining accounting records
  • Managing accounts receivable and accounts payable processes
  • Handling credit control and monitoring outstanding payments
  • Supporting the monthly closing process, including:
    • Profit & Loss statements
    • Balance Sheet preparation
    • Balance Sheet reconciliations and specifications
  • Working with invoicing and tax-related matters such as CIT, VAT, and tax returns
  • Supporting preparation of yearly financial statements
  • Ensuring accounting documentation isaccurate, organized, and audit-ready
  • Collaborating with internal teams and supporting other finance-related tasks

What you should bring:
  • Vocational degree and/or certificate in Accounting
  • Strong attention to detail and a structured approach to work
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage workload in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication skills with a service-oriented mindset
  • A team-player attitude and willingness to support different finance tasks
  • Results-oriented approach with focus on quality and accuracy

Your language profile:
  • Swedish - professional working proficiency
  • English - professional working proficiency

Your track record:
  • 4-5 years of experience in accounting or related financial services
  • Experience working with invoicing and tax-related matters (CIT, VAT, tax returns)
  • Experience preparing Balance Sheet reconciliations and supporting Financial Statements
  • Experience working with ERP systems (NetSuite experience is a plus).
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
