DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES | About the role

The Nordics Vendor Alliances Directorleads strategic partnerships with key technology vendors, driving joint business outcomes and partner engagement. Acting as the primary liaison between internal teams and external partners, you ensure long-term collaboration, align vendor strategies with company growth, and foster innovation and adaptability across the organization. You will also work closely with Nordics Country Managers to develop the Vendor Alliance community and support regional growth.

As theNordics Vendor Alliances Director, you will:

  • Strategic Alliance Leadership: Develop and execute comprehensive strategies with top-tier vendors, driving revenue growth, market differentiation, and innovation, while ensuring alignment on joint goals, investment priorities, and go-to-market initiatives.
  • Business Planning & Performance Management: Lead annual and quarterly business reviews with vendors, set performance targets, track KPIs, identify expansion opportunities, and provide actionable insights to support regional and country-level growth.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, operations, and technical teams to ensure seamless execution of vendor programs, co-develop new services, and embed high-value offerings into core business operations.
  • Inspirational & Team Leadership: Provide clear vision and direction, motivate cross-functional teams, foster a high-performance culture of accountability and innovation, and mentor internal stakeholders to support professional growth and collaboration.
  • Commercial & Contract Oversight: Negotiate commercial terms, manage vendor funding programs, optimize margins, ensure compliance with contractual obligations, and drive strategies to maximize revenue and profitability.
  • Market Intelligence & Strategic Insights: Monitor industry trends, vendor roadmaps, and competitive dynamics to inform strategic decisions, anticipate emerging opportunities or risks, and guide innovation and adoption of new services across the region.


The idealNordics Vendor Alliances Director:

  • 5+ years of proven experience in vendor management, alliances, or partner strategy within the technology sector in the Nordics.
  • Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and familiarity with major Cyber technology vendors.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across all levels.
  • Strategic thinker with a track record of delivering measurable business impact in partner-led growth models.
  • Experience operating in fast-paced, matrixed environments, with channel ecosystems knowledge.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, including executive-level reporting.
