Role and responsibilities
As Social Media Specialist, you will be part of DeLaval's Corporate Communications & Sustainability team and play an active role in shaping and driving social media activities aligned with corporate and brand priorities. You will ensure a strong and consistent brand voice and visual identity, while actively managing and engaging with audiences across corporate channels, including content creation, monitoring, responding, and handling crisis situations.
In close collaboration with key stakeholders across local markets and communications, you will contribute to a high-performing and compliant social media experience worldwide.

In this role you will:

  • Develop and execute a global social media activities aligned with brand, communications, and business objectives, in line with the overall communications strategy.
  • Work hands-on with content creation in various formats. Create, curate, and publish high-quality and SEO-optimised content tailored to platform and audience.
  • Track channel performance, analyse and report on KPIs, and provide insights and recommendations to leadership and markets.
  • Ensure a consistent brand voice, tone of voice, and visual identity across all social media channels, globally and locally.
  • Actively manage and engage with audiences across corporate channels, including monitoring, responding, and handling crisis situations.
  • Lead social media best practices and set clear standards, continuously optimising performance based on platform trends and algorithms, in close collaboration with key stakeholders.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role we believe that you have:

  • A degree in digital marketing/communications and/or related field or experience equivalent to similar degrees.
  • Ideally about 5 years' experience in the digital/social media field, preferably in an international context.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to inspire, educate, and influence, as well as listen and bring people on board across the organisation.
  • Strong tactical and operational capability, with a proven ability to turn strategy into action and deliver results.
  • Ability to guide and support teams and stakeholders in a matrix organisation without formal authority, including leading meetings with diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Skills to identify and drive opportunities within social media, creating value for both the company and its followers.
  • Experience working with relevant tools for content creation and publishing, including Hootsuite, Canva, InDesign, and video and image creation tools.
  • Excellent proficiency in both written and spoken English is required.
  • Ownership of tools and platforms relevant to the role.

Additional information
This is a full-time permanent position based at DeLaval's headquarters in Tumba, south of Stockholm. We offer a hybrid workplace model, allowing flexibility to work remotely.
