Your opportunity

Are you looking to take on a broad and impactful role within an international company with large business flows? As a Senior Accountant at Boliden Commercial AB , you will play a key role in Boliden's global operations. This is a role where you will combine hands-on accounting with developing processes, controls, and ways of working , shaping the future of our finance function.

Your main responsibilities

In this role, you will work across the full spectrum of accounting and financial reporting. You will be responsible for ensuring high quality financial data and contributing to effective, modern, and compliant processes. You will collaborate closely with the Financial Manager and colleagues across finance, business, and compliance.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Managing month-end reporting

• Daily accounting and quality assurance

• Preparing the annual report and year-end accounts

• Managing tax and VAT matters

• Developing and improving accounting and reporting processes

• Supporting internal control initiatives

• Contributing to improvement and digitalization projects within the f inance department

You will also act as a trusted advisor on accounting-related matters and be an important partner to the business , both in Sweden and internationally.

Education and qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• An MSc degree (or equivalent) in accounting, finance, or economics

• Several years of experience in qualified accounting roles

• Experience developing and ensuring the quality of accounting processes

• Experience working in an international environment and understanding relevant regulations

• Excellent English skills, both spoken and written

Experience with K3, IFRS, large ERP systems, or complex global financial flows is an advantage.

You will report to the Finance Manager and be part of the Boliden Commercial finance team.
