Production & Site Manager - FOM Technologies ABThe " Production & Site Manager" of our wholly-owned production subsidiary FOM Technologies AB is a highly important senior role for a Production professional. The parent company FOM Technologies A/S acquired in 2024 a small Swedish production company and In our focus to maintain one of the most innovative players within Slot-die coating globally - we are looking for a leader and a manager to - organize, develop and streamline our small production subsidiary currently located in Helsingborg, but scheduled to be moved to Malmö in Q2 2026 . Today the company has been rebranded to FOM Technologies AB, and is in a process to be turned into our epicenter for manufacturing and assembly of all our standard high precision machines. The Production & Site Manager will be responsible to build a small but professional production & test site. You'll play a critical role in manufacturing cutting-edge material science equipment - from making the prototype to customer delivery by working with a team of passionate people. The role will report directly to the CEO.
Candidate profile:
Work responsibilities:
• To develop, lead and grow our Production site (FOM Technologies AB).
• Manage day-to-day production of advanced scientific equipment,
coordinating manufacturing schedules, quality control, and delivery timelines.
• Build and lead our production team, ensuring efficient workflows while maintaining
the precision standards required for research-grade instruments.
• Duties include optimizing our manufacturing environment for both productivity, deadlines quality control, FAT test execution and prototype innovation.
Academic requirements:
• Production/Assembly of advanced machines (Mechanical or Electrical Engineer).
• Experience with ERP-systems like Microsoft 365 Business Central
• Fluent in English - both oral and written (Corporate Language is English)
Hands-on experience in lean production, prototyping and FAT testing:
• Strong practical experience from production of mechanical equipment/machines.
• 5+ years of production management experience, ideally in precision manufacturing, scientific instrumentation, or similar high-specification environments.
• Experience with lean manufacturing principles and quality management systems. You understand that building advanced scientific equipment requires meticulous attention to detail, careful documentation, and close collaboration with engineering teams.
• Extensive experience in using ERP systems for production, inventory and cost-calculations.
• A desire to create a small but hyper professional production site.
• Frontier in innovation, and state of the art products.
Interpersonal and Collaborative skills:
• The will and desire to build a modern, efficient and streamlined production unit.
• You're comfortable managing both people and processes, with strong organizational skills and the ability to balance competing priorities.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, Very structured and excellent at planning.
• Ability to manage a lot of projects/task at the same time.
• A doer, an executor and very result oriented with attention to details and documentation.
• Hard working and diligent. A team player that takes great responsibilities.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, working in a dynamic, professional and international team.

• Management of head counts: 4
• Travel activity during a year: 0-20 days (excluding visits to FOM Technologies A/S in CPH).
• Reporting to: The Group CEO of FOM Technologies A/S.
• Location: The role will be based in Malmö - Sweden.
