We are looking for a skilled Platform Engineer to join a team working with a modern cloud platform in AWS. This is a consulting assignment where you will play a key role in building and evolving a scalable, cloud-native platform that supports advanced software development and delivery.

You will be part of a team focused on improving developer experience, strengthening platform capabilities, and enabling efficient and reliable CI/CD processes.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development and evolution of a cloud-native platform in AWS
• Improve CI/CD pipelines and overall developer experience
• Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable infrastructure
• Work with Kubernetes ecosystems and container-based environments
• Drive initiatives from idea to production, ensuring performance and availability
• Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders across teams
• Participate in architectural discussions and technical decision-making
• Mentor team members and support knowledge sharing

Requirements (Essential Experience)

• Strong experience with cloud platforms and cloud-native architecture
• Solid experience working with Kubernetes in production environments
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, especially Terraform
• Strong understanding of either security or networking
• Programming experience in at least one language (e.g. Go, Python, Rust)
• Experience working in DevOps / platform engineering environments
• Ability to collaborate across teams and communicate technical topics clearly

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with AWS
• Experience with GitOps workflows (e.g. ArgoCD)
• Knowledge of container networking
• Experience designing scalable systems
• Familiarity with tools like Bazel or Nix
