Accounts & Payments is undergoing a major transformation, driven by regulatory, market and technological change. As an experienced Deputy Domain Architect with deep knowledge of data management and analytics architecture, and experience delivering architecture in a Scaled Agile setting, you will be a vital part of our community driving the Accounts & Payments agenda in the bank.

We are now accelerating the journey of providing state of the art experiences for our customers engaging with the Accounts & Payments products and services of the future. We are therefore looking for a Deputy Domain Architect who can drive the data transformation together with our team of architects and as part of multi-disciplinary teams of customer experience professionals, business analysts, developers, and banking product specialists.

Your focus:

• Leading the evolution of data, reporting, and analytics architecture of Accounts & Payments in line with business needs and priorities, and the overall Data Strategy of SEBGuide and support development and delivery teams both on a strategic and operative level;
• Working with stakeholders across the Domain, Tribe, Data Office, Delivery Programs, Development and Architecture communities to define and agree target states, roadmaps, design principles, and other architectural inputs to the development of the data platform
• Guiding the evolution of the data, reporting and analytics architecture using architectural runways and roadmap, and through active collaboration with Development Teams
• Being an advisor in the Tribe Management, Domain Management and the Architecture Community on how to use data and analytics technology to achieve business and regulatory objectives
• Setting the agenda, priorities, standards and be an informal leader for the team of Solution Architects working to design the future data, reporting, and analytics architecture of Accounts & Payments
• Actively communicating and driving engagement around architecture through Communities of Practice, Guilds and thought leadership
• You will belong to the Shared Service Architecture team within Accounts & Payments reporting to the Team Manager for that team, you will be an active contributor to the Enterprise and Domain Architecture group and be part of the Architecture Community within Accounts & Payments and SEB
• Your focus will be to architect the data, reporting, and analytics architecture but you will need to work closely with, and actively contribute to, the sister domains of Accounts and Payments

Your profile:

• You enjoy turning strategy into architecture, you are comfortable figuring out how technology can be used to meet business needs and strategic objectives, highlighting the risks and trade-offs, and outlining the high-level implementation steps
• You are naturally collaborative while taking ownership, looking for "win wins" in stakeholder relationships but also comfortable outlining a point of view, taking a position, and driving decision-making
• You are an active and engaging communicator able to drive strategic topics while also valuing the details such as progress and project planning and reporting
• You can inspire, informally lead and build partnerships with others, in particular the group of Solution Architects architecting the data, reporting, and analytics architecture and the Development Teams building the future data platform
• You have experience from delivering large projects or change programs, appreciate and engage with the concerns of the delivery part of the organization such as Product Owners and Project Managers and are comfortable actively contributing to steering committees or program management forums
• You set standards for architecture work and drive governance processes in a manner which in effective but in line with the tone and needs of the organization
• You have 7+ years of experience architecting data platforms in large financial services organizations
• You have 10+ years of experience in financial services and bring deep business knowledge ideally in Payments and / or related domains such as Cash Management
• You have 5+ years of experience designing data platforms on cloud technologies ideally Google Cloud Platform and driving the transition from technologies such as data lakes
• You bring deep knowledge of data management and analytics capabilities, keep abreast of latest offerings and capabilities in the market and actively plan for incorporating emerging technologies
• You are very experienced in managing diverse stakeholders in large organizations and navigating ambiguity
• You are fluent in English

Would be considered as advantage, if you have:

• Worked as a Senior Solution Architect, Domain or Deputy Domain Architect or Senior Tech LeadWorked with Google Cloud Platform;
• Have recently driven the design and development of a large cloud-based data platform within a financial services or large organization
• Any certifications or architecture methodologies experience
• Any certifications from data management technologies or cloud providers
