Arla is looking for a dynamic, highly motivatedCustomer Demand Planning Specialistto play a critical role in ensuring operational and financial success for the organization.This is a temporary position, starting as soon as possible and running until January 2028, supporting the business through an important transformation period.

How you will make an impact

You will be part of the Demand Planning team of 7 specialists in Sweden. You will be responsible for developing accurate and transparent sales forecasts for Arla and for presenting demand insights to key stakeholders and the management committee as part of the monthly S&OP process.

You will govern IBP (SAP Integrated Business Planning for Demand Planning) and leverage automation, analytics, andAI-enabled toolsto generate robust statistical forecasts by understanding category development, consumer trends, and the implications of changing behaviors or unforeseen events.

You will identify risks and trade-offs against business objectives using statistical forecasting models and deliver scenario planning to evaluate how proposed commercial and supply plans may impact the business. In this role, you act as astrategic counterpart to commercial, finance, and supply chain stakeholders, translating complex data into clear insights and recommendations to support sound decision-making.

• Contribute to forecast accuracy and bias tracking through execution of the S&OP process
• Support alignment between commercial inputs, category trends, and financial expectations
• Assist in scenario analyses and sensitivity assessments
• Participate in demand excellence initiatives, supporting continuous improvement and planning maturity
• Apply analytics, automation, and AI-supported tools to improve insight generation and planning efficiency

What will make you successful

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 1-3 years of experience in demand planning or a similar analytical role, preferably within FMCG
• Working knowledge of SAP APO or SAP IBP and demand planning processes
• Strong Excel skills and familiarity with MS Power BI
• Interest or basic experience in automation tools (e.g., Power Automate) is a merit
• Basic understanding of statistical forecasting methods and time-series analysis
• Curiosity and willingness to explore AI tools to support analysis and insight generation
• Ability to interpret data and contribute to structured demand insights
