Role Summary
Group Product Management (GPM) at TRATON Group plays a critical role in balancing commercial priorities with industrial solutions, while steering capability investments in line with the direction set by the TRATON Executive Board. As we continue to evolve into a more business- and market-driven product and service organization, we are strengthening collaboration with our brands' Sales & Marketing functions to better capture customer and business needs.
We are seeking a highly strategic and results-drivenCommercial Solutions Managerto lead the commercial contribution to TRATON's solution roadmaps. This role requires deep insight into industry developments across segments and geographies, strong connections with brand-level commercial organizations and a forward-looking mindset toward emerging technologies and customer demands. You will play a key role in ensuring profitable business growth, leveraging group synergies and maintaining differentiated customer offerings across our brands.
Job Responsibilities
- Drive global strategic positioning initiatives across markets and segments
- Represent and advocate for the commercial and customer perspective in roadmap optimization and prioritization
- Support and further develop brand differentiation within the TRATON ecosystem
- Translate strategic positioning into actionable development programs
- Collaborate cross-functionally and across brands to align business and product strategies
- Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and market developments to inform decision-making
- Build and maintain strong relationships with commercial stakeholders across TRATON brands
Who You Are
- You bring 7+ years of experience in market strategy, business development, or sales management within an international business environment
- Experience from TRATON or one of its brands is required, with a strong preference for candidates from commercial roles.
- You thrive in collaborative settings and are skilled at driving high-impact decisions in complex, matrixed organizations
- You combine strategic thinking with a pragmatic, solution-oriented mindset
- You have strong negotiation skills and excel in stakeholder management across multiple levels
- You communicate effectively and navigate seamlessly across cultures and global teams
- Experience within a TRATON Group brand is highly valued, particularly on the commercial side
- Additional experience with business strategy, emerging technologies, or market knowledge in Asia, South America or North America is a strong advantage

The GPM office is a diverse and experienced team representing all TRATON Group brands. We are passionate about solving complex strategic challenges across functions and brands, and we foster a culture where ideas, perspectives and expertise are openly shared.
Our team, Group Commercial Solution Planning, ensures that customer needs are prioritized and translated into solutions aligned with brand positioning and group strategy. We also lead key strategic positioning topics and convert them into concrete development programs.
This role is based in Södertälje, Sweden, with a start date as soon as possible. We offer relocation support for the right candidate within the TRATON Group and expect some flexibility for travel to collaborate with our brands globally.
