C++ Software Engineer to ALTEN Lund

We at ALTEN Lund automotive team are looking for both junior and senior C++ experienced Software Engineers to join a high-performance platform team. Your mission will be to ensure software quality for middle-layer utility C++ code used in a software platform and application layer. You will work with ~50,000 lines of C++ utility code, focusing on requirement decomposition, test coverage, and compliance with AUTOSAR and ASPICE standards.

This role is ideal for engineers who thrive in structured, quality-driven environments and enjoy collaborative problem-solving in a CI/CD pipeline.

Key Responsibilities

Test & Requirement Coverage:

Create traceable test and requirement documentation (ASPICE V-model).

Write unit and integration tests in C++ to achieve full coverage.

Code Quality & Compliance:

Ensure code adheres to C++ 14 AUTOSAR standards.

Identify and correct bugs and behavioral issues in utility code.

Refactoring & Optimization:

Refactor and move code for broader use in utility components.

Process & Collaboration:

Structure code, requirements, and tests according to industry standards.

Monitor CI/CD pipeline for test execution stability and act on failures.

Conduct advanced fault tracing and mitigation.

Participate in daily standups, refinements, retrospectives, and planning activities.

Required Skills & Experience

B.Sc. or M.Sc. in computer science, software development or other relevant field.

Experience in C++.

Strong understanding of ASPICE and AUTOSAR standards.

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and test automation.

Familiarity with requirement decomposition and traceability in software development.

It is meritorious if you have previous experience form the automotive field or/and Embedded systems.
