We are now looking for a Vice President Finance, Region Central East & East - a senior business partner who will drive financial performance, enable commercial success, and support strategic and operational decision-making across diverse markets.

What you will do

As VP Finance for Region Central East & East, you will serve as the key co-driver to the Regional SVP, leading financial performance management and strategic finance support. You will work closely with market finance teams, the VFS global headquarters, and Volvo Group Business Areas to ensure robust financial control, sustainable profitability, and business growth.

This is a high-impact role where you will combine analysis, accounting, forecasting, and strategic partnering with leadership in process efficiency and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead financial performance management across markets - ensuring high-quality, timely reporting and actionable insights.

• Partner with regional and global leaders to translate strategy into operational and financial results.

• Closing and estimate processes, including validation, review, and performance management.

• Optimize balance sheet structure and capital efficiency, supporting asset finance, commercial and capital markets activities.

• Perform financial & portfolio analysis, and engage with pricing, to guide strategic and operational decisions, as well as enhancing profitability.

• This role will act as the liaison on credit requests and decisions, working closely with the global credit and risk functional team. This collaboration is key to ensuring our credit processes are streamlined and effective.

• In this capacity, you will be granted a Regional authority level for credit approvals as per Credit Policy Delegation of Authority, empowering you to make critical credit and pricing decisions within the designated framework.

• Support strategic initiatives such as new financial or fee product development to support the sale of Group products and services.

• Champion finance process standardization, automation, digitalization and best practice sharing across the region.

• Ensure markets are adhering to internal control, compliance, accounting and tax and Volvo Group governance standards.

• Inspire and develop a high-performing regional finance team, fostering collaboration and professional growth.

• A university degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.

• Extensive experience in senior finance leadership roles, preferably within an international environment.

• Deep understanding of P&L and balance sheet management, funding, and capital markets.

• Strong commercial acumen and the ability to act as a trusted business partner.

• Advanced skills in financial modelling and analysis, performance management, and data-driven decision support.

• Experience in Accounting and preferably Tax

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to inspire and develop highly performing individuals and teams.
