Job Description:

The opportunity

As Technical Delivery Lead for station layer upgrade and modernization projects within HVDC Service, you will take end-to-end responsibility for the technical delivery of station layer systems and lead an engineering team through all project phases. You will play an important role, leading modernization projects that help secure and strengthen critical infrastructure for the future.

The HVDC station layer system encompasses a suite of HVDC applications - including the Human-Machine Interface (HMI) for operator interaction, sequence and event recording for operational monitoring and diagnostics, as well as remote control functionalities utilizing communication protocols. These applications are seamlessly integrated with the underlying IT infrastructure, which comprises network components such as servers, workstations, switches, firewalls, and time synchronization devices. Together, this architecture enables secure, reliable, and efficient supervision, control, and data exchange within the HVDC control and protection system. In a station layer upgrade project, only the station layer system is modernized, while the HVDC core control functionalities remain unchanged.

"In this role you have the perfect opportunity to grow in your technology leadership. Our team works on exciting technologies while driving a global portfolio that continues to grow. We believe great work starts with great people. Join us to collaborate on innovative projects, build strong relationships, and grow together in a supportive, team-oriented environment. - Pernilla Kilström, Engineering Manager HVDC Service - Station Layer in Upgrade Projects.
