About this opportunity
We are looking for a highly skilled and business-oriented Tax Director, Group Tax Control & Strategy to lead the continued development of the Group's tax agenda. In this senior role, you will shape how tax contributes to strategic decision making, effective risk management and long-term value creation.

As a key expert role with Group wide responsibility and part of Group Tax and the broader Group Control Finance team, you will act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, defining the Group tax frameworks, governance, control and reporting standards, and steering the handling of complex tax matters with material Group impact.

The role reports to Head of Group Tax and offers a unique opportunity to shape the Group's global tax strategy, to guide regulatory readiness and to contribute to strategic decision-making in one of Sweden's most international corporate environments.

What you will do
• Define and drive the Group's tax strategic framework, aligned with business objectives and financial priorities
• Oversee the governance, control and risk management of the Group's direct tax affairs and reporting
• Define and implement tax strategies to manage the Group's effective tax rate and minimize tax exposure
• Partner with business owners as a strategic advisor, shaping future business models and transactions to ensure tax efficient and well governed outcomes at Group level.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across Finance, Legal, Treasury, and other functions to ensure consistent tax positions and integrated decision making across the Group
• Shape the future state of digital tax reporting at Group level, ensuring solutions are scalable, sustainable, and aligned with evolving tax regulations.
• Monitor and assess global tax developments, translating regulatory change into implications for the Group's operations and structure.
• Provide clear and insightful tax updates to the CFO and senior leadership, including regular reporting to the Audit and Compliance Committee.
• Ensure appropriate recognition, measurement, and disclosure of tax risks and exposures in the Group's financial statements.

You will bring
• Strong expertise and extensive experience in Swedish and international taxation, gained in complex, multinational environments, with the ability to operate credibly at Group and
senior leadership level.
• Experience in group tax reporting and international tax frameworks, and ability to articulate tax needs into clear requirement setting and delivery expectations for tax reporting
initiatives and solutions
• A proven track record of shaping and steering tax strategy, governance, or transformation initiatives in large, international organisations.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex tax matters into clear, relevant insights for executive management and oversight bodies.
• A collaborative mindset enabling effective partnership across business areas, functions and geographies.
• Fluency in English and Swedish.
• Master's degree in Law, Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration with a focus on Taxation.

Preferred qualifications:
• Experience from telecommunications or technology sectors, and from enterprise systems and data driven tax reporting environments, is considered an advantage.
