Assignment Description

We are looking for an Automotive Software Test Engineer

What You Will Work On

Handle and manage incoming fault reports from multiple sources

Analyze, reproduce, and categorize faults based on criticality

Identify root causes and assign issues to appropriate teams or suppliers

Escalate unresolved issues and support resolution workflows

Create new fault reports when issues are identified during testing

Perform vehicle and rig-based testing in both stationary and dynamic conditions

Book and manage access to test vehicles and rigs

Load and read software using relevant tools

Execute test cases and evaluate system behavior

Document test results and update test verdicts in CarWeaver

Develop and maintain test plans and documentation aligned with ISO 26262

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and compliance

What You Bring

Experience in automotive software testing or embedded systems

Hands-on experience with vehicle or rig-based testing

Knowledge of automotive communication protocols (ETH, CAN, LIN)

Experience with Vector tools and similar testing environments

Understanding of fault analysis and root cause investigation

Ability to document and manage test cases and results

Driving license (Category B) - required

Fluency in English (written and spoken)
