About the role

We are looking for a Rust developer who will help us bridge the gap between our low-level code and cloud infrastructure. You will work in our Engagement team, the team that focuses on the entire customer journey after the purchase of our product. This team is dedicated to delivering the best possible offering to our clients and engaging them with our products.

You will work at the intersection of embedded systems and cloud computing, playing a critical role in designing and developing software that enables seamless communication and data transfer between low-level devices and cloud-based applications. You will collaborate closely with hardware engineers, software developers, and cloud architects to define software requirements and design specifications, write and test code, troubleshoot issues, and deploy software to embedded systems and cloud platforms.

We are looking for someone who is strong in communication and enjoys collaborating closely with colleagues across disciplines. You have a genuine interest in understanding problems at their core and solving them not only efficiently, but with long-term quality in mind.

You will be...

Designing and developing embedded systems software using Rust and related tools, including pipelines, testing, and automation.

Collaborating with hardware engineers, software developers, and cloud engineers to ensure seamless integration between different layers of the system.

What you bring to the team

Solid background in software development, ideally acquired within a product-focused company or startup environment

Experience with software design and software design patterns

At least 1-2 years of commercial experience with Rust

Experience with Linux

Agile methodologies/Scrum/Kanban

Nice to have

Experience working with IoT, Bluetooth and wireless devices

Experience in a product company and/or start-up environment

Knowledge of databases (SQL/PostgreSQL, Redis)

DevOps understanding; maintaining own code (AWS)

Kubernetes/Docker & Terraform experience
