Job Description

Our client is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer with a strong foundation in mechanical engineering and basic exposure to electronics. This role requires a proactive and execution-driven professional who can effectively manage updates and corrections related to manufacturing data and technical documentation.

The position plays a critical role in ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment of engineering data across systems and documentation, supporting both product and manufacturing functions.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze and interpret requested modifications related to R&D manufacturing data to ensure accurate implementation

Perform minor mechanical design updates using tools such as Creo

Revise and maintain manufacturing documentation to reflect current product configurations

Manage and update product-related data within PLM systems

Initiate and coordinate EMS service requests for updates to CAD models and PCB drawings

Prepare and process Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) in accordance with established procedures

Lead and facilitate review sessions to validate updated documents and ensure compliance

Required Experience

Senior-level experience in mechanical engineering, preferably within components or product development

Exposure to manufacturing environments and engineering data management processes

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field

Required Skills

Proficiency in CAD tools, particularly Creo

Experience working with PCB-related documentation and coordination

Familiarity with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems

Understanding of Engineering Change Management processes (ECO/ECR)

Knowledge of Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) is an advantage

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage technical documentation

Ability to coordinate cross-functional activities and drive tasks to completion
