We are seeking a Senior Exploration Geologist with a background in greenfield exploration to identif y and develop mineral prospects beyond our mining operations.

Your opportunity

Join our Near-Mine Exploration team at Aitik, where you'll support mine geology, contribute to advancing the Nautanen project and help identify new opportunities for discovery. Y ou will be part of a dynamic team working in friendly, stable and supportive conditions in Gällivare, Sweden. This is a permanent, full-time position where work-life balance is highly valued.

Who you will work with

You will collaborate with a team of g eologists, g eophysicists and e xploration t echnicians to plan, initiate and execute exploration activities. You will also work closely with various departments to ensure the success of exploration programs.

What you will do

• P lan, initiate and execute exploration programs safely and within budget.

• Compile and interpret geological data to generate new targets and advance prospects.

• Model geology in 3D.

• Maintain exploration licenses and complete reporting as required .

• Develop and implement QAQC routines and SOP's for exploration activities.

• Mentor j unior g eologists and field staff.

• Support business development projects and feasibility studies.

• Promote Boliden's values and contribute to maintaining a social license to operate .

What you bring

• Education: Geoscience degree MSc or PhD preferred.

• Experience: E xperience in exploration / mining industry , target generation and advanced stage prospects.

• Skills: Strong understanding of structural geology and mineral systems, experience with Iron Oxide-Copper-Gold and porphyry copper exploration is a m erit . Proficiency in GIS and 3D modeling software. Operational experience with diamond drill programs.

• Languages: Proficient in English , Swedish or willingness to learn is desired. F innish is a merit.

• Other: A Category B driving license is required .
